Hakuin Inquiry Framework.

THE PROBLEM CONTEXT
Organizations conduct activities, or projects, in order to provide goods and services that people and organizations buy. Beneath the hood of each good or service is a  list of internal initiatives and projects: the building, developing, branding, measuring, funding, and communicating. Some of these projects bear fruit and progress the final goods and services towards enhanced marketability. Equally as many projects, if not more, miss the mark completely, burning time, resources, and attention. Hakuin developed the Hakuin Inquiry Framework to increase the share of projects that generate value and lessen the burden of wasteful projects.
HAKUIN INQUIRY FRAMEWORK
There are many tools today trying to help organizations improve project management, internal communications and coordination. These tools are focused on managing execution and complexity. The Hakuin Inquiry Framework is not like these tools. It uses an ancient tool to paint and refine the big picture.  Inquiry is the ancient art of posing the right questions at the right time for some meaningful gain. It is the single most important part of any project, but the one that is easiest to omit amid time constraints.
‍‍
CERTIFIED PROJECTS
Hakuin releases frameworks that help project owners carefully consider context, strategy, and set up, and these frameworks are essential within the Hakuin training sessions for analytics and insights teams. A project that has passed through a Hakuin Inquiry Framework has undergone scrutiny, and Hakuin provides certification as documentation and recognition that the project has been carefully considered. As a manager or executive, enabling the Hakuin Inquiry Framework to certify projects will bolster trust and confidence in ongoing activities. Especially when it comes to remote teams, executives and managers rely upon Hakuin Certification to serve as guides for important projects and initiatives.
HIGH VELOCITY INQUIRY
One of the primary reasons why Inquiry is often omitted from projects is that there are too many projects, and each one is moving in a different direction at a high velocity. In such an environment, project owners focus on execution – list off the essential tasks associated with a project, or the materials needed to complete it, or devise some technical approach to push the work ahead. The Hakuin Inquiry Framework requires 10 minutes to complete an given framework. The project owner (or participant) spends a brief period of time contemplating the project. This short time investment, the time equivalent to a short coffee break, serves to eliminate or postpone projects without a clear objective or next steps, clarify projects requiring more detail, and bolster already strong initiatives with guided strategic thinking.
THE BYPRODUCT: STRATEGY METADATA
The byproduct of the Inquiry Framework is the data surrounding the project objective, context, and concept, or the strategy metadata. This data has not been recorded by organizations and represents a valuable well for any datastore. Hakuin delivers this structured dataset directly to the organization, following the Hakuin Inquiry Certification, so that it can be loaded into a strategy metadata store in any Big Data platform. It is then referenced as a system of record, to go back in time and understand the projects that were considered and executed. Over time, as the strategy metadata accumulates, it becomes an incredibly powerful feature set for training AI models. Whether it is for historical context or for developing superior project structure in the future, this dataset has potential to significantly change the way organizations operate.
THE STEPS

1. Go to the Hakuin Inquiry Bank
2. Select the Framework most relevant for your project - there are currently 10 modules

3. Take 10 minutes to fill out the framework to the best of your ability

4. Within a few hours you will receive the Hakuin Inquiry Framework Certification via Email - use this for project documentation

5. Within 24 hours you will receive the structured metadata from your response set to load into your data store. All updates to the framework will maintain the file schema from previous frameworks, so they can be easily added to the metadata store. Data is stored in a pseudonym, so Hakuin knows neither who nor which organization ties to which results set.
